Platform Role

As a peer-to-peer marketplace:

• All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers
• StudentBookHub does not collect payments on behalf of sellers
• We are not responsible for the quality or condition of items sold
• We cannot process refunds as we do not handle transaction funds

User Responsibility

Before completing any transaction, we strongly recommend:

• Inspect the book carefully - Verify the condition matches the listing description
• Meet in safe locations - Choose public places for exchanges
• Ask questions - Contact the seller through our messaging system before purchasing
• Take photos - Document the book's condition at the time of exchange
• Agree on terms - Clarify all details before finalizing the transaction

Disputes Between Users

If you have a dispute with another user:

• First, try to resolve the issue directly with the other party
• Use our messaging system to document all communications
• If the issue persists, you may contact us to report the user
• We reserve the right to suspend users who engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

Fraudulent Activity

While we cannot process refunds, we take fraudulent activity seriously. If you believe you have been a victim of fraud:

• Report the user immediately through our platform
• Contact local authorities if necessary
• Provide us with any evidence to help investigate the matter
